IMPORTANT WEARING & CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR ARCH SUPPORTS

Thank you for your purchase of Good Feet Arch Supports.  Your selection includes one of the finest over-the-counter products made in the United States.  With over twenty different styles of arch supports to choose from, Good Feet can walk with you each step of the way in all of your activities and fit right into your shoe wardrobe! Although your arch supports have been measured to your individual feet, there is an adjustment period. Many Good Feet customers experience instant relief and comfort, while others experience varying degrees of discomfort. The adjustment period is as individual as you are.

This also varies depending on the type of shoes you wear, the types of activities you engage in and the arch support you selected today. The less aggressive arch supports may have an adjustment period of a couple of weeks (if any). The more aggressive supports can take up to a couple of months for adjustment. Again, the adjustment period depends on the product you have selected, the shoe you wear them in and your own personal experience.

If at any time you experience discomfort, beyond what you believe is standard adjustment, remove the arch supports immediately and contact your Good Feet Customer Service Representative.

Standard Wearing Instructions

Start by wearing the supports for 30 minutes the first day. You may wish to add 30 minutes each succeeding day until you're comfortable in them all day.

It is not uncommon for one foot to take two or three days longer than the other foot to adjust.

If you opt to wear your arch supports during any ATHLETIC activity, it is important you do so after you're able to wear them comfortably all day. Wearing them in any athletic activity usually requires some additional adjustment time. Please ask your Good Feet Customer Service Representative if the product you selected is appropriate for use during athletic activities.

Note: The arch supports are not designed to be placed over “built-in” shoe insoles. Many manufacturers design shoes with a built-in foam rubber arch support that is “glued” into the shoe lining. To experience the maximum biomechanical function of the product and achieve optimal balance, comfort and support it is important to remove the insole prior to placing the arch support in your shoe. (Use caution in removing glued insoles as to not tear the inside lining of the shoe footbed.)

Good Feet Arch Supports are designed to fit best on a flat shoe bed – see your Customer Service Representative if you would like to try on a pair of extra-depth comfort shoes especially designed for arch supports.

Standard Care Instructions

Wash your non-leather supports in warm water with mild soap/detergent, rinse, and dry with a towel. They may be sanitized in a bleach solution. Never place the supports in a washing machine or dryer. Keep them away from direct heat sources.
